Kobe Beef Bacon Burger with Chimichurri (recipe)

Nothing tastes better than a juicy and savory burger...with bacon. Enjoy this chimichurri burger creation.
  • 1 LB lean ground Kobe Beef
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • ⅓ cup Onion, small dice
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • ½ tsp. Pepper
  • 4 Hamburger Buns
  • 1 cup Chimichurri
  • 1 cup Queso Fresco
  • olive oil for frying
  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Place the bacon onto the cooking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. After the first 10 minutes, flip the bacon and drain the fat then return to oven (additional 5-10 mins)
  4. In a mixing bowl combine ground beef, diced onion, garlic, egg, and seasonings.
  5. Mix until well blended and form into four equal patties
  6. Heat a frying pan with oil on medium-high heat.
  7. Fry up the burgers until cooked.
  8. Add more oil to the pan to toast the tops and bottoms of the hamburger buns.
  9. Spread the chimichurri onto the top of the bun add bacon and cheese to your burger and serve!
